Hello, friend! I have something to enquire about this poetic form. Is the use of comma in a Haiku considered to reduce the number of syllables being used in either of the three lines of its? Please kindly help me out with this, I’ll be grateful to you! ð Thank you!
I do not believe so. I use comma’s in my haiku to indicate pacing or rhythm, not to alter syllable count. If one of mine is short or long a syllable it is either an error or because I chose to break the rule.
Love!
