Weather, Fair and Foul

Endless days of summer sun

we imagine, when we’re young.

But living isn’t always fun

and by some sleet, we must be stung.

Wind will blow and rain will fall.

The random thunderstorm will call.

There will be sticky steamy heat,

and droughts, with not enough to eat.

Tornados may blow through some day

or floods may wash it all away

and yet the sun will come again,

these things happen, now and then.

We must endure all of that strife,

this is the climate. We call it life.
