That is quite spooky! It is my 55th birthday today and I am just composing a train related haiku about it as I am on my way to London. Maybe I’ll just steal yours!

Happy Birthday! I took that picture early in the morning the day before Christmas. Since posting it to social media, I noticed a trend in those who particularly appreciated this image. Almost all of the people who reacted strongly or commented were over 50. That got me thinking about why this particular image spoke so strongly to me and to people my age. When, yesterday, his birthday, one of my University flat mates expressed appreciation for the image, this haiku condensed from the cloud of thought so I posted it to him… and now, to you as well!
