Please remember, folks,
All that Jiggles ain’t jello.
Sometimes, friends, it’s slime.
Please remember, folks,

via Shades of Intent
I was reminded of this poem earlier today. Much has changed in the five years since I wrote it but I find the reminder timely as ever.
Swimming in your stew
redolent with emotions
leaves an aftertaste
no amount of unctuous goo
can ever hope to disguise.
If you want the moon,
Then bloody ask for the moon!
Demanding sun and stars too,
Nets you naught but resentment!
Did she ask herself,
before trashing my network,
“Wonder what this button does?”
Compassionlessness
can’t be a family value
embraced by Americans!
~
But it can, it seems,
be a blazoned guiding light
for our chief executive.
Burning at both ends?
My candle’s bathed in jetwash
And the afterburner’s on!
Which of the packs of
Rabid dogs has their teeth tight
‘Round your junk today?
